01 / Product context
Making the city part of the mobile interface
Okasha Rewards was conceived as a discovery application for Dubai. Instead of presenting a static directory, the experience used location and maps to help people explore nearby places and interact with their surroundings.
The approved screens show a personalised Dubai home view, favourite places, a scanning journey on a city map, and a detailed treasure reward.
02 / Product idea
Combining useful discovery with a reason to keep exploring
The core product idea brought two behaviours together: finding nearby places and unlocking rewards through exploration. The reward layer gave ordinary city discovery a game-like structure without separating it from the map-led experience.
03 / Discovery journey
From nearby place to map scan to treasure detail
The visible product flow starts with nearby and favourite places, moves into a location-aware scanning view, and ends with information about a discovered treasure. That sequence makes the physical environment part of the app's progression.
- 01Discover
Browse places around the user's current Dubai location. - 02Explore
Use a map-driven view to move through the surrounding area. - 03Unlock

04 / Botmer's role
Shaping the mobile experience across discovery and reward
Botmer's verified contribution covered the location-based mobile experience, discovery flows, maps and geolocation, and the rewards and gamification layer. The case study does not add an unverified development framework, launch date, client partnership, or commercial result.
The approved screens and supplied brief define the scope represented here.
05 / Product interfaces
Discovery across home, map, and treasure
Approved Okasha Rewards imagery showing the mobile product experience for Dubai.

06 / Maps and geolocation
Using location as product behaviour rather than background data
In Okasha Rewards, the map was part of the interaction model. Location helped organise nearby places and supported the movement from browsing into real-world exploration.
No claim is made about the specific mapping provider, geofencing method, tracking accuracy, or underlying technical stack because those details are not established by the supplied evidence.
07 / Reward layer
Giving exploration a game-like sense of progress
The treasure-hunt concept added anticipation to the discovery journey. The approved interface shows a named treasure with contextual details, presenting the reward as the conclusion of a location-led interaction rather than a disconnected promotion.
08 / Evidence boundaries
Keeping a sparse public record accurate
No authoritative current product website or app-store listing could be reliably matched to this exact project. The page therefore avoids founder, ownership, launch, active-user, download, partnership, reward-value, and current-availability claims.
Similarly named products were excluded because there was no evidence connecting them to the approved Okasha Rewards interface.
